By accessing or using the website and services of Young Grandmasters Chess Academy Pvt Ltd (“YGCA”), you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

 

1. SERVICES OFFERED

YGCA provides:

  • Online chess coaching
  • Offline chess coaching
  • Group classes and 1:1 personal training
  • Demo sessions
  • School partnerships and chess programs

     

2. ELIGIBILITY

  • Students under 18 must be enrolled with parental consent
  • Parents/guardians are responsible for providing accurate information

     

3. ENROLLMENT & CLASSES

  • Enrollment is confirmed only after payment (where applicable)
  • Class schedules may change due to availability or holidays
  • YGCA reserves the right to modify batch size, format, or coach allocation

     

4. PAYMENTS & FEES

  • Fees are communicated via WhatsApp, email, or official invoices
  • Payments are currently accepted via UPI, bank transfer, or cash
  • Future online payment gateways may be introduced

     

Unless stated otherwise:

  • Fees are non-refundable
  • Missed classes may not be compensated

 

5. DEMO CLASSES

  • Free demo classes are subject to availability
  • YGCA may limit demo access per student

     

6. CODE OF CONDUCT

Students and parents must:

  • Maintain respectful behavior
  • Follow coach instructions
  • Avoid disruptive or inappropriate conduct

     

YGCA reserves the right to suspend services if conduct standards are violated.

7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content including:

  • Lesson plans
  • Worksheets
  • Videos
  • Website materials

     

are the intellectual property of YGCA and may not be copied, distributed, or reused without permission.

 

8. THIRD-PARTY PLATFORMS

YGCA may use platforms such as:

  • Zoom
  • GMAIL
  • Google Meet
  • WhatsApp
  • LiChess

     

We are not responsible for technical issues or outages on third-party platforms.

 

9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

YGCA is not liable for:

  • Internet connectivity issues
  • Third-party platform failures
  • Indirect or consequential damages

     

10. TERMINATION

YGCA may terminate access to services for:

  • Violation of terms
  • Non-payment
  • Misconduct

     

11. GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION

These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
 Jurisdiction shall lie exclusively in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
